Brahmotsavam means a festival to commemorate an offering by Lord Bramha to Lord Vishnu. According to a legend, Lord Bramha performed a Brahmotsavam prayer for Lord Vishnu.
With the literal meaning of “Bramha’s Festival,” the Brahmotsavam festival is celebrated annually in our Temple during Vaisakha masam coinciding with anniversary of “Prana Prathista” ceremony performed in 2013. We commemorate the Prana Prathista by performing Kalyanotsavam on Day 3 – Vaisakha Masa Krishna Paksha Dashami Uttarabhadra Nakshatram.
